    Default Airtel vs BSNL

Hi I'm currently on a BSNL plan called VAS Home Combo ULF 2999 as follows:
2Mbps Unlimited (50GB fair usage policy)
    and it cost Rs.3000/month

I was looking into Airtel plans and ran into Impatience 1799(Airtel/KT/FL/18 Unlimited)
    Basically, it is
4Mbps Unlimited (100GB fair usage policy)
    and it costs Rs.1800/month.

So it seems Airtel can give me twice the speed at almost half the price?

Seems too good to be true. Am I missing something here?

    Thanks

There are lots of unlimited plans in airtel as well as BSNL, first tell your requirement what you exactly need internet for?

If Airtel is available to you in your area, then go for it.

FUP is 50 GB. It is a new plan and hence better than your current BSNL plan. Also you may not get 4 Mbps, but will be higher than 2 Mbps.

Remember that 50 GB includes total Upload & Download [comes into the picture esp when you use BT] then the speed drops down to 256 Kbps, In my experience , Airtel usually gives you the speed they promised so long as your line can handle those kinds of speeds
Airtel is a better choice anyway , if its available at your place , I say go for it !!!

No, Airtel only counts download into usage, at least in my 1 Mbps unlimited.

Every ISP counts Total Data Traffic irrespective of it being upload or download. Any internet traffic moving in and out of your machine ultimately adds up to your usage .
