Default Help configuring Wi-fi in Nokia Siemens router

I was using this[ Nokia Siemens ] for BSNL and Wifi was working good..

But now i'm not able to configure it for Airtel

I checked the VPI and VCI values in the router that Airtel gave me and I used the same values in the Siemens one but it doesnt work

Is there anything that i'm missing here? Do i need to change any other settigns ?

The VPI/VCI values were 1/32 if that matters

Edit : Now i'm not sure if this router even wokrs with Airtel.. It must right? Anyone using it ??

    Only changes are

    1. VPI/ VCI = 0-32

    2. Change ID and password

If nothing works, reset the modem and reconfigure it.

    Welcome.

PPPoE mode allows you to share connection between more than one system. It is more secure and gives auto dialling feature which Bridge mode lacks.

    Question

    Hi,

Like Goodburner, I am also using BSNL's router (Nokia Siemns SL2_141) for my Airtel Connection. My problem is when I connect via LAN my wirless also gets connected however when I remove LAN cable the wireless also goes down.

I don't know anything about routers and modems, therefore I need to know step by step procedure to correct it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

@essbebe - Thanks for information however can you explain bit further. I don't know anything about routers. A step by step procedure would be very helpful.

    Thanks once again.
