I'm an Airtel customer & that is for the last 3 years, this is the first time in my tenure that I am spilling it for Airtel in the public, needless to mention I was an admirer & promoter before.
I have Airtel IPTV, Broadband & Phone services with this provider. I had requested for a House Move on 31st of May'10 (Ticket # : 348839), as usually happens airtel promised me that it will be done & they would take a span of 30 days. Failing to see any proceeding on the same I kept calling them & they kept saying It will be done, be patient, & bla bla .. 8th of June'10 some one from airtel said that you have a previous outstanding & you need to pay at least 2k to get this shifting done. I did that (Paid 2k in cash on 8th) ...
My services have still not been moved, my family is without Television for the entire last month & god knows till when. Today I lost it completely when a lady from the recovery team of airtel called up & started misbehaving & shouting (Without knowing the concern) about me not paying bills & that I will have to clear the complete outstanding before they move my service.
From whatever I wrote above, Don't you all think that I should have been told about this long back ? & that too in a more polite way ....?
I am sorry to say this but if Airtel is looking at this one, you have got huge communication gaps in your business & to add to it kindly hire educated people in your "recovery front desk" who should not end up saying " Aap ko jab services pasand nahi to kisi aur le lo na"
I am quitting Airtel & would possibly be the biggest Demoter of Airtel from today .... It was a sad end of a 3.5 year old relationship though !!!
