    Thumbs down Airtel : Worst Service Provider

    Hello Everyone,

    I'm an Airtel customer & that is for the last 3 years, this is the first time in my tenure that I am spilling it for Airtel in the public, needless to mention I was an admirer & promoter before.

    I have Airtel IPTV, Broadband & Phone services with this provider. I had requested for a House Move on 31st of May'10 (Ticket # : 348839), as usually happens airtel promised me that it will be done & they would take a span of 30 days. Failing to see any proceeding on the same I kept calling them & they kept saying It will be done, be patient, & bla bla .. 8th of June'10 some one from airtel said that you have a previous outstanding & you need to pay at least 2k to get this shifting done. I did that (Paid 2k in cash on 8th) ...

    My services have still not been moved, my family is without Television for the entire last month & god knows till when. Today I lost it completely when a lady from the recovery team of airtel called up & started misbehaving & shouting (Without knowing the concern) about me not paying bills & that I will have to clear the complete outstanding before they move my service.

    From whatever I wrote above, Don't you all think that I should have been told about this long back ? & that too in a more polite way ....?

    I am sorry to say this but if Airtel is looking at this one, you have got huge communication gaps in your business & to add to it kindly hire educated people in your "recovery front desk" who should not end up saying " Aap ko jab services pasand nahi to kisi aur le lo na"

    I am quitting Airtel & would possibly be the biggest Demoter of Airtel from today .... It was a sad end of a 3.5 year old relationship though !!!

    airtels going from bad to worse their cell phone service already sucks they have screwed up dth service same with the broadband service and now this stuff once upon a time their service was the best in the country but now ill have to say that they are becoming another reliance

    I am enjoying 1Mbps UL from Airtel BB for 499/-. It works out to be 299/- in total since they are giving away 200/- free calls every month.

    So I am not complaining

    Did you try escalating the issue? Have you Emailed the Nodal Officer?
    Have you Emailed airtelpresence@airtel.in?

    If you haven't done any of the above things, please do so asap.

    Infact I did my friend, there was a nodal officer who came to my place as well to visit. they have collected my new location's documents from me as well.

    However the E-mail addresss that I used was care.ncr@airtelbroadband.in
    should I try other E-mails as well, is that goint to do any good in this situation.. ?

    I totally agreed with you for the Airtel becoming second reliance.
    They are thinking, they would get more and more customers nonetheless retaining the existing one. Har kutte ka din aata hai... iska bhi aayenga... Like docomo did miracle in cell phone industry someone like that will do some changes i hope that will be done in very short period. as we do not have good options.

    u maybe sick of being AIRTEL cst but not me am very Happy to be their cst u.I have to ask u guys who provides good servicee other than Airtel jst think abt it

    the answer is no one all indian cos suck at cc cause that it is not their main objective only sales is once the product is sold they dont know u

    In Poona, I have found ALL the other networks that I have tried to have better service than Airtel... and by a large margin. Not just the service, but even the network is pathetic. Not to mention the cheating...

    In my case also Airtel is the best in network and customer care in my case and in delhi i have never heard from my friends also that they have faced any problems.

    Take yesterday as an example i was getting some connectivity issues in the morning due to DNS server settings i lodged a complaint with 121 as i Didn't had engineers local number and guess what after lodging a complaint engineer was at my doorstep after1/2 hour. and my problem is solved. and it was second time in last 3 years i had to call customer care for some problems, last time being cable problem from my side.

    So in my experience airtel is best except their new policy of FUP, but nevermind i will still stick to Airtel. atleast i am getting uninterrupted services 24x7

    ^^^If you are talking about Airtel BB, then I have to say that nobody I know in Pune has complaints about their BB. Problem is that it is perhaps the most expensive ISP and the FUP sux. It is the mobile service that sux in ALL possible ways.

    I agree that airtel services are on the way down..but as of now i feel they are still the best in the broadband segment...they are definitely the worst in the mobile phone segment...
