Thread: airtel ( cheap minined line man,sales executive )

airtel line man is asking me to pay 2000 rs for wires then they will install net my end.......otherwise they dont install net my end..........but i has already paid 1000 rs as a advance rental

wht should i do now

any one can give me complaint e mail id of airtel .......

In which state you are so i can give you the email id. And its strange and heard for the first time that line man are asking money for wiring, but in my case my wiring for second time was changed with just one call to the line man directly and without paying anything.
the engineer in my area is very polite and i dont need to call customer care for any problem.

Lodge a complaint if you have faced this type of problem. For all numbers and email ids better visit airtel website and top select contact us --- broadband support and select city.

and if you dont get any viable response you can then write to nodal officer at

Are you sure the guy was an Airtel Authorized Linemen ???

Make sure you take his details down.

Such things are common place with BSNL [The guy demanded 300 bucks as soon as he rang the door bell ] and with CTO's setting up an internet connection for you

This is the first time Ive ever heard about it happening with such a reputed ISP as Airtel !!!

First you can register your complain with Airtel cust. care n Nodal officer and if nothing helps then please submit complain on Consumer Forum
