Please read date in title as 24.8.10. Regret error.
complete crap plans, they go on adding Web Site Builder stuff which are useless and keep decreasing free phone calls etc etc.
Crap Crap
I am going to stick with my NU 798 plan.
Never change the existing plan if you are OK with that. All new plans are just crap and will end up with 256 kbps speed by paying extra bucks.
They have resorted to migrating the plans of existing subscribers without informing them via email or phone. My plan's speed was upgraded to 2 Mbps; but, I am unsure about the new FUP applied to my account!
This is why they say BSNL is the best.....![]()
I had Airtel Broadband Connection , Every Month When I Recieve Bill I Feel Very Bad.But There is lot of Hidden Chrges , Speed also not upto the Mark. Many People Wrongly Inf that BSNL Service is not good,so I Took Airtel Connection, Now I was Shocked after Using BSNL BB Service , Service is So Good and Speed also very good ,I Dont Know Why People Give Wrong Information about BSNL Service.
For new Broadband simply go for BSNL.
BSNL is far better, I would say..... Can't even compare Airtel with BSNL plans.....
Yes, I do understand that it is unfair to migrate you without informing you. I have to wait and watch to see if this happens to me.
In contrast, I was quite surprised to get a call from Airtel (based on my emails to them) and I was informed that my existing speeds would be doubled effective a certain date. Well, it actually happened....my speeds have been doubled !!! I think they will apply their new FUP limitations from the next billing cycle.
From what I read in this forum, it seems the efficiency of Airtel's services vary from city to city. Here in Bangalore it is quite reliable (on a personal experience level). My modem problems were attended to on line and I was guided on the phone as to how to fix it. A rare case of overbilling was handled quite well and I got quite a few calls informing of the action they were taking.
Yes, BSNL is the "king" when it comes to what it can offer as it literally owns the "gateway". But I was once helping an elderly gentleman with his BB modem problems and it was ordeal as I was put on hold for a long time and the guy who finally got down to helping me just disappeared. This has in fact been the complaint of many BSNL customers.
So....to each, his own.
