FUP is calculated by Upload+Download in ur case you get 20GB Fair usage and when FUP triggers your Upload and Download bandwidth will be capped to 256kbps till your next billing cycle so if you are getting 2mbps then your fup is not triggered because none of the isp blocks just Upload speed if they do then they will apply it on both streams i.e Ul&Dl do you get your usage details in your login portal? if you do then see your data transferred tab,and keep in mind adsl technology doesn't promise even upload rate 24X7.

Airtel guys are giving conflicting signals. First they siad its not feasible. Then they said it is feasible. Then they called and said 4mbps plan is not feasible but 2mbps is there. Today they came to home and said we have to pull line from far and it will take a week atleast.

They wanted me to pay upfront and wait. I didnt want to do that because I dont want to run after them for the refund. Let me wait for the Reliance guys to respond.

@Rcom: Is Wimax really better than wired. ASking since it seems to be a lot more expensive.

^^ Do not commit the mistake of prepaying them. Better get it confirmed and pay up only then. The marketing guys might vanish soon after taking the money!

We do have to pay installation upfront right. I paid them 250 (corporate plan). Is there any chance they might vanish after taking the money. I did get a reciept and all

^^ If you got a receipt, then you are on the safer side. I have heard that some agents will act otherwise.
