Have to pay for modem/wifi. He told me 800 for modem and 1400 for wifi. How much did they tell you

they asked me 400 for phone and 800 for modem

I kept my BSNL on that basis, and was even tempted to buy a box that would share the two connections, but once Airtel 2Mb had been working fine it just seemed ridiculous to hand on to a fraudband 256k connection. Of course I will disconnect if Airtel is working good. But they are pulling the line from a building which is 60-70 meters away from my home. Now that building itself is around 150 meters away from the board. The sales guy gave a lot of sweet talk about how he will make sure of the speed. But I want to see the proof of pudding only after eating it. So want to wait for a couple of months maybe to test.

Sure... I kept my BSNL plan that long. Actually, BSNL had just got it working after months of bad service, but I had had enough and prefered Airtel's plan offerings anyway. We had been waiting, and called them up the day we saw their guys cabling our street: it was installed and running just a few days later.

BSNL had been ok in the previous house, but not here.

any suggestions for landline phone as i dont like the phone they give binatone spirit 410(they are asking me 400 for this phone is it worth) please suggest me a good one as they told me that i can also get my own

I am not sure since they didnt tell me anything about the cost of the phone. Wonder why they didnt mention it.

I dont really need a phone though. If they ask me money I will say no to it
