    Hi,
My wireless stopped working after i reset the modem to factory settings. On the modem's home page, it says, AP_FAILED for AP status.

    Can anyone please help.

Backup existing settings of modem for LAN working mode.
    Then RESET as advised above.
    (1)Post the wifi settings page.
(2)Try without any security code. unsecured wifi operation.
(3)Firmware update may not be required.
    (4) Also post connection status screen shot.
    (5)
    copy/paste ipconfig /all
    (6)
In network Wlan settings what is the error message ?

Tried resetting it and it's still the same.
Internet works fine with ethernet though.

The only indications that wireless is not working are that status on the home page and the wireless led on the modem is not glowing.

If it's a hardware problem, nothing much we can do, so will the airtel people repair this? I'm using this with bsnl.

    1.Please delete all Tunnel data.
Also uncheck IPV6 in Network settings of both LAN and WLAN.
    Scrolling the page is bothersome.
    2.
    Send email to 121@airtel.in
    They may replace the modem/router.
wait seeing your post again .....!!!!

In computer Network WLAN : :
11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Express Adapter
have you installed the Network ?
Check in Network settings page on top.
Select configure. Is it enabled ? Check other options also.

My laptop's fine. I can connect to another wireless network just fine. My modem's wireless is not even(guessing by the status lights).

I bought this from a friend and i don't even have airtel; so replacing is not an option. Do airtel people repair the modem? I looked on beetel site and they didn't have any service information.
