Changing the wifi password in Binafone DT845w My brother,studying in Delhi(stays rent),uses airtel Binafone DT845w modem.it seems his neighbour knows the wifi password and is accessing the connection and downloading loads of movies and surfing totally free.Thats all at my brother's expense. My bro's getting really low speeds cuz of all the downloading. I would like to know if anyone could tell me how to change the password in the modem.

confirm router page is similar. see annexure.
OR post as screen shot Jpg Device info page.
Option 1 : ( temporary)
Use LAN mode and disable ( radiation in) wifi in router.
Option 2:
In wireless settings select wpa/security code.
(similar screen shot posted here . will upload enlarged if confirmed )
Change it.
Option 3 :
Relocate the modem/wifi router to reduce signal radiation.
keep it at a lower height.
Option 4 :
Enable white list in wifi router and enter
wlan card MAC address ( your brother's wlan card.)
start run type cmd OK
new window
type ipconfig /all
check MAC address for wlan card.
Also check wa3002_g4 screen shots to check whether modem /router Binatone PAGES are same .

Post a screen shot of wireless setting page. You can add MAC ID to the white list and allow access only to machines listed.

Please ensure present modem settings(config ) are Backed up by
checking MANAGEMENT menu usually , to say
C:/My Documents/Binatone wifi working.
Step 2: ( if needed )
Ask your brother to check when connected to Internet

say 122.xx.xx.xx
get that ip ( from him if needed )
and type in your browser. ( when online same time )
It is expected you can access the modem/router settings and
make needed changes in WIFI page>
Para two:
This model Beetel450TCI/ UtstarWa3002_g1 and many more
wifirouters used by Indian ISP's have the same menu pages, with minor differences. ( for instance HELP menu is missing in Beetel models)

Only MAC address has to be entered.

Check in wifi page. probably you may see SSID Airtel or MNGmt
