I was also facing the same but i got solution. there is problem in button of modem which you used it turn it on or off (white color). It becomes loose after 1 year of use. Just put a matchbox stick to tight it. This solution is given by airtel engineer that came to my home when i was facing problem

    1. If possible, try another adapter and check.

    2. Try another modem and check.

    3. Reset the modem to factory settings and reconfigure it.

It is mainly a modem problem and is a best attended by a technician.

    I second that.

Similar problem here. i thought it was dropping the link, and so did the engineer on his first vist, but, on further reflection, I realised that the modem was rebooting.

The difference with me was that it would do this for about ten to fifteen minutes, then work normally again.

On subsequent complaint and visit, engineer changed the modem, and now I have a solid connection again. I had an engineer at my house within an hour of calling them!
