Thread: vonage adapter VD2v21 not working pls help

Hi , this is my first post. I am visiting from usa and have brought my vonage. I have artell braodband with 450bx1 router.

when i followed the instruction I get error 002. when i connect my laptop with the router directly the internet works.
I ma unable to make this work. I would really need some help. I tried connecting teh laptop to the aaptor and connecting to the Web UI and it takes me to a page that says " you have reached this page in error"

Can someone please help me. I am not very tech savvy.

If you are using a dialer to connect
( entering UserId/PW in computer window )
Access modem/router settings page and select Link 1_32 edit
Uncheck "bridged"
Select PPP/PPPoE
Next
enter your Airtel Id and PW
In Lan menu page enable dhcp
give range say 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.6
DNS page
either as it is or enter 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220
WIFI settings no change.
SAVE Reboot Wait for 2 minujtes.
Recheck Internet working fine with laptop either in LAN mode or
WIFI mode.

Now from beetel 450BXI connect rj45 to BLUE port of Vonage unit.
( Wait for all three Icons to appear
first the Globe then the Phone then the Monitor.
Lift the Handset ( voip line ) and report error message or
ringtone.

Darkblue cable not used ,if you have only laptop in wifi mode.
Connect it from Vonage unit to desktop ethernet port.

The internet is passpowrd protected but I od not have to log in everytime.
