Thread: Airtel broadband 1799 plan ..

Hi ,

I had Airtel Broadband 1699 1 Mbps unlimited plan (with no download limit - no fair usage policy). And with an offer which came by , i upgraded that plan to 2 Mbps with 100 Rs more.

But now am imposed with some download limits on the 2Mbps connection. By now i mean from the last month. It never used to happen earlier , for the last year or so . My download per month always have been more than 100 gigs per month.

Could anyone explain this to me ? Was any new rule introduced ?

Dear friend, you fell for the oldest trick in the "Airtel's book of deception"

Airtel is throwing all the tricks to move old customers from there high FUP (100GB) plans to there new puny 15GB/20GB plans.

You should thank God that Airtel was kind enough to ask you before changing your plan, I was migrated to the new Swift 1099 Plan (FUP 15Gb) without my consent from my old Downloader 1099 Plan (FUP 100GB).

The Moral of the story is "Greed Will Destroy Us" if you had continued with your earlier plan you could have enjoyed the 1Mbps Unlimited plan for some more time.
