Thread: Airtel bad latency.Any help appreciated

Hello friends,
I am from Kolkata and use airtel 2mbps 1199 per month plan.Downloading speed is just great.I get around 265KB/s while downloading using google chrome and around 280 to 290 KB/s while downloading using IDM.But i am getting very bad ping in most European and US servers 300plus.I get around 110 to 125 ping in Singapore servers.But the strange thing is that i get 120 to 140 ping in Delhi server and 150 to 170 ping in Mumbai server.I am planning to buy BFBC2 but i am worried if i get such ping in delhi servers my MP fun will be ruined.I am measuring those pings using speedtest.net.Is there any kolkata airtel user here?If yes can you tell me your ping?

im a airtel user from chennai, i have same prob, my net is 4 MBPS, but its ping is 160 above, maybe its due to rain
