 Airtel GPRS is very good if used on laptop with DAta Cable! Starting a separate thread so that, all become aware of it:  I would say Airtel GPRS is not bad at all. What I do is, I have Airtel GPRS, which I use to browse on my laptop using a Data cable, (Not blue tooth please). The connection shows 410kbps strength. Although when I check the effective speed, depending on the time of the day, it varies between 25-97 kbps. I use my N72 as the modem. I have successfully downloaded Windows Vista, (almost 3 GB) and many movies and Vids using this connection. Ofcourse, I use a few tweaks to fine tune speed, but for Rs. 375/- a month, unlimited usage, it is not bad at all!  |
