Anyone of you guys who's using Airtel bb been offered 2mbps @ 799? I was using 512 kbps but for the past few days, my speed improved and today i called up CC and asked them about the speed i was experiencing and they told me that it was only to some special customer who have this speed upgrade and with the old usage bill.

first when i applied for ab back in 2008 i opted for their 1 mbps unlimited plan for 2222 cus i was on xbox live then i switched to 512 kbps unlimited for 1300 something in late 2009.. now am on a 512 kbps plan which costs me 1250 incl taxes but i was upgraded to 1 mbps ages ago then about two months ago been getting 2 mbps speeds.. although i my speed went back to 1 mbps for a few days in between its back to 2 mbps again now.. i am paying 1250 per month

With Airtel you do not have to worry about the speeds. Worry about the fair usage policies. What was the FUP for the old plan? What is the revised FUP for the newly allocated plan?

i download around 60 gb every month including video streaming and sometimes at the last 10 days of my billing cycle ill put back on 1 mbps.. else i get 2 mbps even with that sort of data transfer odd thing is am on a 512 kbps unlimited no fup plan!

even i m using TAHAT SCHEME 899 FOR 2 mbps ( fup 5 gb )

If you are not experiencing FUP from Airtel, then it is good. I know a couple of Airtel BB subscribers who get to enjoy 1mbps UL (without any form of FUP) by paying 499/- per month..
