    Default Airtel Modem change- URGENT!!

    I have an airtel connection with a Beetel 220BX modem, but I have a D-Link 502T also. I want to set up that one. I thought it would be simple i.e. just connect the wires and youre on, BUT when I connect it, only the Power Light switches on. All wires are properly connected.My computer also doesnt recognise it.Please help!!!

    How you connect to the net ... do you use a shortcut on desktop
    to connect or is it by automatic when you switch on Beetel modem ?
    And are you using USB connection or LAN connection ? which OS ?

    I assume that you have configured correct values in D-Link modem .
    (vpi / vci values should be correct) . you can use it in bridged mode
    without any problem .

    ^ pls connect your D-Link modem to LAN port of computer ;
    power on it ; press a mini switch in its reset hole for about
    15 seconds . this should reset modem to its factory settings .
    now you should be able to reach its configration page .
