    Default Worst Service by Airtel to new customer to give broadband connection

    Two weeks back we (Dumadu Games, Koramangala, Bnagalore) submitted all required documents to Airtel executive for broadband connection for business purpose. From last 8-9 days he is saying that all formalities are done and we will give you connection by 7 pm in evening. But no one turns up till 8 pm.

    They are not giving any reason or issue to not process the same. Every day same answer "we will connect by 7 pm". Its quite frustrating. This is the worst customer service which I experienced in my entire life.

    I think their technical team works only after evening when customer leaves the office. They work as per their convenience and not worried about business loss of customer and kind of frustration that we received because of this service.

    If Airtel people really care about their customers then they should give clarification.

    Did they set up the connection at the premises? I mean, did they do the wiring and connected the modem? Maybe the delay is in allocating the username / password.

    For informational purposes, they had set up my connection within two days of submitting the application form.

    No, they not did any setup at premises.... Just they don't have time for that. Everyday they says they will do it in evening. If it is for 1-2 days then its understood but from last 9 days the same reply I am getting and no one turns up.

    Yesterday, we waited till 8.30 pm and as expected its complete disappointment...

    You can book ONLINE a BSNL BB connection here.
    UDAAN PROJECT -- BSNL No need to log in.
    If you have a BSNL landline phone ,
    You may get connection within three days.

    Mention this in your email to Airtel, and say you
    want refund of Advance ( if any paid ) for
    unsatisfactory service.
    Mention Airtel L/L junction Box available in same area. nearby.
    ( if you know ).

    ( Airtel may waive Rs 500/= to retain the new connection !)

    121@airtel.in is only for existing airtel customer and not for new one. We need landline number while sending email to this address.

    You should have a receipt or order having some reference number.

    First time I hear that to send a message to an email address
    you need to have that ISP's L/L Phone number!

    Did you try ? was the message rejected ?
    If you post the details i will send the email !!!
    No Airtel telephone. ( was AirtelBB user for three years)

    Yes, they replied to my email as

    We are unable to process your request as the your Airtel fixedline number along with STD Code is not mentioned any where in your email or the fixedline number mentioned is incorrect hence we request you to resend the mail with correct number.

    For any Fixed line and broadband related assistance please send an email to 121@airtel.in mentioning Airtel Fixed-line number along with STD Code in the subject of the email.

    Finally we decided to go for other service provider... They are interested in loosing business.

    I will start looking for other options from tomorrow.

    1. breaking forum rules by advertising.
