So, I've been using my Airtel Broadband with my old BSNL Nokia Siemens Type 2 Wifi Mode. It worked till yesterday, until I tried to port forward a port for a game. Since, I obviously messed up somewhere, I went and reset the modem to default settings.

Since it's a BSNL modem, all the settings that I used for Airtel have changed back to BSNL. The data bulb in the modem is not lighting up.

I changed the VPI/VCI values to 1/32
Then, I changed the Username to (STD Code)(Landlinenumber)_dsl(at)airtelbroadband(dot)i n
Pass to my airtel account number as mentioned in some place.

Then I rebooted my modem, but no go. It's still the same I'm at my wits end on how to solve this problem and have been trying for about 6 hours.

Also, when I view the status, it says 'Authentication Failure'. Does this mean, I got my username or pass wrong?
