I just applied for my new BB connection with airtel.....From customer care they asked if i need their own modem....i wnt to knw.....is their modem is economic and good one or i need to buy a new 1 of my own....

if i have to buy new what will be gud choice with wifii

I would not want to own a Beetel modem. Best that it belong to Airtel so they replace it when it goes wrong --- I'm on my 2nd modem and 3rd modem power supply.

I recommend BSNL or Reliance. Coz, someplans of bsnl and reliance giving bb without FUP.
