    Default Is there a way to get rid of STUPID FUP!!

    I'm a Ncr resident,recently bought airtel 1299 2Mbps plan with 20GB FUP,but i finish my limit up in just 10-12 days then have to lack like hell on 20-30 kBps
    (-_-*).
    Just wanted to know if there is any way by requesting to customer care or something and get rid of my FUP.

    You knew what plan you were subscribing to, I guess --- it's up to you to regulate your own usage. Sorry, but you can't say that your litre of oil is stupid because it doesn't give you two litres.

    Yes, you can overcome your problem, but only by spending a lot more money.

    Of course... that broadband is overpriced in India is something we could easily agree on, but that is a different issue

    There is only one way of getting rid of FUP - get rid of the service provider, get one that offers true unlimited.

    U cant escape from FUP..ofcourse all broadband service provider has this..I hope Airtel has some decent limits..
    You can check the website..from the month of June they have introduced lots of plans..with low amount..good speed..and also increased the FUP limit.....Grab them ASAP...

    MTNL (Triband) is the only wire-line broadband provider in Mumbai who offers all unlimited plans without FUP, I usually clock over 100GB a month on unlimited 1 mbps plan . I do have random disconnection issues which they have not benn able to solve, but overall there customer support is good.

    same problem here, 512kbps fup limit is 10gb..with 3rd week starting i am getting you have used 80% of the service LOL..

    i guess one way will be to send thousands of emails to the heads of these cos requesting them to remove fup

    Majority of the ISP's are using this to prevent people from excessive downloads from the Internet. maybe they felt atleast this way, they can stop people from downloading movies and stuff !!!!
