Thread: Airtel Delight 100

Hey, I'm currently on 899 unlimited plan!
Airtel has sent me a mail saying that by paying 100RS extra, I can get a speed of 2mpbs. Will it still be unlimited?

It is unlimited with speed cap after usage of few GBs bandwidth (FUP). Speed will be reduced to 256 kbps once you cross the FUP limit. It is always better to call the customer care and get the FUP details before and after subscribing to the Delight offer.

Yes, they will double the speed while reducing the effective FUP. Hence, beware of such gimmicks.

You wil be in your old plan...but your speed will double up..
FUP limit will stick on to your older plan..and wont be extra for your speed up...

Nope, wrong guys. They will shift you to a special plan, which includes 10gb fup limit, and no landline calls. I was about to shift to the same plan, ask the customer care to send me the details though email, the cc said on phone that all the **** fup and other things will remain same but when I receive the email, the plan sucks.

Dont go for delight offers. I am waiting for my current bill to come, and seen some good plans of reliance and I might shift from ^Poortel now. They are just a pain in my ass most of the times related to FUP and VAS charges.

Even Reliance have Fair Usage Policy in them, Plan 1199 gives 2Mbps till 30GB post FUP 600Kbps, the post FUP might be better than airtel but the FUP still exists in all the companies, so be aware before applying for any plan.
