Hi ,
Would anyone know how to configure the Wireless modem DT845W (Binatone) to give access to perform RDC .
Thanks for your help.
RDC: Remote Desktop Control.
Mention your OS.
Connect modem/router in "Always On" PPPoE mode
( Userid/PW stored/entered in router WAN page )

Please , I do not want to mislead the question , as I did not see much of a man ual for Binatone DT 845W .
Now if you have configured DT 845W to for Access Management , then it will be awesome to share some of your knowledge,
I am not worried about the target ... and neither should you worry about the port number .. if you have leveraged or configured "Access Management Tool" for this device , please let me know ..
Thanks once again for responding to this thread ..

"RDC" is set up in the computer.
Check in Your OS Control Panel Menu items.
2.
The screen shot shows all the sub menu items available for "Access Control "
This is a standard wifi router and has been around under different model numbers for a pretty long time!!!
3.
You have "assumed" more than what is in my post......neither should you worry about the port number
I have no worry about the PORT and you can keep it SECRET!!!!
4.
Please await further response from other members.,

I posted a simple question about a modem/router/switch Binatone DT845W , to perform ACL's and using Access Management tool .
Now about your statement RDC , there are many steps to be taken in order to access an computer equipment via the internet .. as you seem to well versed in this forum , I assume you would know all this ..
Please do me a favor .. if you have not worked on this particular model DT845W , please do not waste both of our time ... responding back and forth ..
I thank so much for the effort that you are showing in at least responding , but I do not want you to derail the subject or the question..
Again: The Question is how to configure DT 845W to give Access for RDC or any other access (SNMP, Telnet etc..) if you feel that you are a bit familiar with this product .. then we should have been communicating ..
Thanks once again ..
Please consider this thread as closed ....Problem resolved ....
We Indians like to correct each other and loose our focus on the solution, I think it is in our blood ... thank you once again sharing your valuable knowledge and making me understand what is RDC and all that .. Hope you enjoy doing this more than helping...
If you have worked with DT845W(which I understand you have not) .
Again thank you so much for taking the effort in making me understand that you know better ....

This is a public platform and we all respect each other on this forum including you but we do not take disrespect lying down.
If you want to bully the person who is trying to help you then you would be better off paying a few hundred dollars to some online troubleshooting company or get some local computer wala to come and fix your issue.
In the end you say problem resolved thread closed but you don't have the heart to spend 5 mins to share your resolution with the forum... that's extremely selfish and we do not welcome such selfish behavior.
