What is correct format to put Airtel user name ? Email Id ?

And in the configuration page there is no option to use automatic dns and which dns I should use for Airtel ?

I read on some posts that some people use open dns instead Airtel default. Which is better?

Please delete the full quote immediately from the preceding post.
You can use it to draft your reply and then delete it. members need not scroll my own post twice !!!

Airtel gives you a USERID and PW. usually your(STD) phone number @airtel.in
    EmailID PW will be different.
For selfcare , also can be different.
DNS : If option not available
try Google 8.8.8.8 and OpenDNS 208.67.220.220.

    Feedback.

I think in the page where you entered yourId etc there could be abox for "alwaysOn' or idle time.
    WAIT: Checking screenshots.
