Thread: Solution port forward 450tc1 adsl2+router -airtel

Well i found that many user had problem using torrent eg, slow connection ,yellow sign, red sign no incoming connection
So here is how to solve it and it works truely.

OPEN BITTORRENT,UTORRENT AND CLICK OPTION-PREFRENCE-CONNECTION
CHOOSE ANY PORT BETWEEN 45000-60000 U CAN EVEN TRY ON ANY RANDOM PORT BUT I PREFER THESE
OPEN DEFAULT GATEWAY 192.168.1.1
USERNAME:admin
PASSWORDassword (it might be different u can ask airtel for ur username and password)
GO TO ADVANCED SETUP-NAT-VIRTUAL SERVER
FILL APP NAME - TORRENT OR ANY U WISH
PROTOCOL-ALL
START PORT NUMBER:THE PORT WHICH U HAVE SELECTED IN TORRENT CLIENT
END PORT NUMBER : SAME AS ABOVE
LOCAL IP ADDRESS: TO GET THIS JUST TYPE cmd in windows prompt,when u get into black screen type ipconfig and note the IPV4 ADDRESS (IT SHOULD BE SAME A IPV4)
CLICK SAVE.

WALLAH DONE!

Facing the same low speed on torrent problem.

Tried ur solution but this error is coming up :

ERROR: FAIL TO UPDATE DUE TO... DUPLICATE PORT NUMBER !

I am putting the same port no in the start port and end port space, is that causing the error ?

select a random port number first in torrent 45000-60000 and do specify the modem u using .
if using the same modem just follow the procedure carefully and it will definately work dont forget to click save after doing the setup

I am having the same router 450TC1 also i have put the port number in utorrent. but the problem when i try to save the config it says error : fail to update due to duplicate port number.
Now i am putting the same port number as in the torrent in the start port and end port column. there is another box after application space it has some options like FTP, SSH, TELNET, SMTP, POP3 etc. . .!

Please Help !
