Thread: Does Airtel support Vonage in Chennai

Hi,

I'm planning to get Airtel broadband in Chennai. Does Vonage phone (VOIP) is supported with the Airtel broadband. Should I need to ask any specific plans to use VOIP phones? Please help

I have used Vonage on Airtel BB connection earlier, and now using BSNL BB connection.
No special plan needed (landline based BB connection only )
Just enter 192.168.15.1 router router, if you have the unit.
Connect to Internet as usual. Transfer the rJ45 from desktop to Vonage unit.
Lift the phone. you can hear audio error message, or ringer tone if all ok .

If still not subscribed to VONAGE, consider OOMA.
