how does that compare to BSNL's Home 750C???
there is no Fair Usage Policy, and the speed is 512 kbps if u download 10GB, or even 100 GB!

All this at Rs. 750 plus taxes.

at the speed of 4 mbps, 10 gb will be exhausted in a single day, so for next 29 days u r stuck in 256 kbps, and still paying thousand rupees?
and seriously, who cares about the crapware these ISPs push at us?

Agreed with netherwinternights,Only BSNL has no FUP policy, and lately,BSNL services are not proving as troublesome as in earlier days.I am in Punjab and I haven't experienced a single disconnection in 3 months.

Using BSNL since Aug 2008. Only down time was 2 days (till date) and never faced disconnection too.

No doubt, Airtel is the best ISP in India, especially in case of customer care. I would switch to Airtel if,

    1. They consider my area and not only cheesy spots.

    2. A bit more decent FUP limits.

I am using Airtel mobile, but don't think they will be serving net here in near future. Only BSNL.

bsnl is ok but i think not suitable for pro user ,eg stock broking terminal. they cant provide consistent speed. here in kolkata they r worse for their customer care. wireless technology may be the future of broadband.also cable broadband may contribute better in future
