Thanks all techies for helping so many freshers like me
    here is my problem ...
.... today I configured MTNL HG510 modem with airtel broadband and established the file sharing too through the router between 2 PC's. Now a new problem is there, I can't access some sites as before when using the BEETEL 220BX modem ...... just 10 minutes earlier. Sites like yahoo >> home page opens but that's all, I can't open any successive pages or link even not to Email login page........ and also homepage of Facebook not opening at all .... and lot's more site which I have tested today itself. (Rediff, Indiatimes, Gmail, youtube are working fine) even the yahoo toolbar fails to load ..can't see my apps which i have added to my yahoo toolbar ...What's wrong ??? Is that anything related to port forwarding..(not much knowledge but comes to know while searching posts related to my problem) or what else and how can I do it to normal surfing as before ... I donno the type of my HG510 modem but it has 4 LAN ports. I know that's the problem of modem setting .. but what .. I am helpless without smart techies....... and the most frustrating is here I am getting problem in posting this topic here 7 times i tried to post this thread but fails everytime.... i can read, search strings and older posts her but can't post myself a new strings or can't able to reply the mozilla/IE gets stucks after pressing the post button.
Last but not the least ........ I am posting this thread from my home computer, couldn't able to post this thread by the 2 PC's at my office where the problem persists,..............plssssssssssssssssssssss help.

    1.
See sig link wa 3002_g4 guide for screen shots etc .
    Ignore wifi pages.

    2.
MTNLHG510 + 4 lan ports and Beetel 220BX appear to be same.
compare settings ( menu pages ).
Lan ports used for connecting 4 additional computers.

    .3
RESET Beetel 200BX to factory settings and try
Dialer Mode> UserID/PW entered in computer Window.

If Ok change to PPPOE mode and
Check MTU value ( is set to 1492 or lower.)

if you need further info give feedback.

    4.
Both units in SAME place ( HOME) now ? You can use ONE modem only at a time.Change Rj11/rj45 cables.
    .Presume HG510 settings OK.

Thanks Essbebe for responding.. I knew it that u will be the first to respond...
It seems i was unable to describle my prob or whatever...
I just want to know the setting of the HG510 modem with Airtel Delhi now, ....not for the 220BX which i have plugged out. Earlier I am using 220BX with no problem in surfing but the problem was that the local networking of my 2 PC's through cross cable get crashed almost every fortnight itself with no reason. That's why i switched over to the HG510 modem, I get it configured and connected it to both the PC's with RJ45 cable with internet connection shared as well as the file n printer sharing is also working fine. But can't access to many sites (stated in 1st post) as I can access earlier using 220BX. Now plsease help me out with the settings for HG510- 2 PC's connected- winxp on both ..... how can i insert my modem screenshot so that u can have a look of that....can u please tell me the setting in easy manner (like go to Interface setup>>Internet>>Encapsulation>>Select PPPoA/PPPoE not Bridge Mode) etc.. it will be easy for me to understand...and get it fixed. and one more thing that new is I can able to post this using Google Chrome but not with FFox or IE..
    Thanks

    (1)
    Check Advanced Options/ LAN
MTU value can be lowered to 1492 and in steps of 8 try 1460 also.

    2) Check in Management .DSL
uncheck adsl2 + keep Bitswap enabled.

    3) report Mod mode selected snr attn u/l d/l ( from statistics adslpage)
    Feedback.

    Para two:
Save as screenshot of modem page ( Device info statistics/adsl)
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/attach...stics-adsl.jpg

    procedure:
press key PRTSc Edit with Mspaint Jpg file preferred
    Select "Go advanced" here
    scroll down
    Manage attachments
upload picture from saved location in Harddisk.

    (b) If uploaded in tinypic web site just give the link omitting http://
dont give space dot xxx etc.
