    Default look at this french ripoff!! and look at Airtel

    Now, you may want to know of how much we are getting ripped off in India... let me show you what those b*st*rds in France are getting for 2100 ruppes/m all inclusive... they have this provider called free... but look!!!

    Why can we get the same here!!! I am banging my fist on the table... you can probably feel it!!

    * 28 Mbps... in certain area 100 Mbps (if fiber is present that is)
    * no limiiiiits!!! those drive me crasy... I dont even remember the last time I was not on the limited bandwidth... 30kps!!
    * Free phone call on landlines over 100 countries... includinnnnng India!!!... like free, free.. nothing to pay... you can even call USA on mobile for free!!!
    * Shared movies
    * bluray player
    * Game console.. with the pad!!!
    * TV!!! Including HD tv... only free to air chanels of course but still its pretty neat!!

    now, look here, I need to pay a 110 US dollar a month to get a lousy 16mbps... and after my quota i need to pay 40r/mb... what a joke....

    I am so tired of paying for airtel growth, i want to pay for service ... for me!!

    I say.. revolution!!

    Whist that is quite a deal, the market for broadband in some European countries is saturated, and the market for telephone services is very competitive.

    A while back (don't know about now) some UK companies were giving free broadband if you took their landline service. The level of support and customer service on those connections, though, was (is?) exactly what you paid for it: dismal.

    Yes, I agree about the horrendous charges for broadband (which often is only fraudband) in India. One of the world's poorest countries has one of the world's most expensive services.

    If you want to feel a little better about Indian telecoms, though, check out how much UK people pay for cell-phone calls! When I am there, on a pay-as-you-use service, I seriously think about making calls at all, or even SMS!

    Default FUP .. there is no fate!!

    Guys,

    There is no fate.... use your customer power!! complain to your ISP and threaten them to go pay someone else....

    * i clearly told them that if they can not matches the new players...ie.. reliance broadband or You ... I will go there.....

    Dude 15 GB at 1mbps = 43 hours of full dl... is 6% of my month.... this has to STOP!!!

    Only payers can make a difference!!... threats to pay the other guy... AND switch...

    * look at those TATA freaks....
    Despite the above, if the customer is found intentionally violating TCISL FUP, continuing with his internet connection with unreasonable levels of use without migrating to another plan , TCISL reserves the right to suspend or terminate the customer‟s account immediately without prejudice to other rights available to TCISL under these Terms and Conditions.

    Those countries has long moved to wireless internet and hence the rate for wired net is low. Just like we get cheap rates for land line since no one opts for it. It will be unjust to compare our condition with Pakistan, they get a lot of grants in exchange for their sovereignty from US.

    Many complain of not getting 2 Mbps unlimited and sends mail to TRAI and all. Instead we should write to public works department for better roads, union power ministry for better planning that we do not get power cuts and lots of other thing which are much worse in our country.
