    Thumbs down AirTel's Customer Negligence

    I'm using AirTel BB for past 2.5Yrs. I had several BB issues with connectivity. May be more than 20+ complaints I have registered so far and most of them got resolved in 48 hours!! But I'm forced to mention they are failing to get attention to resolve the complaints in proper time. I raised a complaint two weeks ago, and still it is open. My connection is being down for two weeks!! No reponse so far.

    When I call CC guys, they are giving me an information saying problem with underground cable in our area[Bangalore, Koramangala] and need to be replaced[two weeks?!].

    Yesterday I raised the request to cancel my account. Going for TATA or BSNL.

    Forward your complaint to the nodal officer. Some solution to the problem should turn up then..

    Send email .
    I think it is now 123@airtel.in
    Talking on Phone to different CC staff will be frustrating.
    Then follow with Nodal officer etc.
    you have a written record about your complaint. acknowledgement etc.

    Shifting to another ISP will be a bad move now.
    My experience with Airtel has been excellent in Chennai.
    Disconnected as I left Chennai for a long period. Should have paid the retention charges, and continued/availed 1 Mbps free NU 0900PM to 0800AM
    ( as per old tariff plans) for about Rs 499/PM.even now.
