Thread: Please Help Setup D-LINK DSL2730u.

Hello
Today I have got D-Link DSL2730u Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router.
Now I am trying to set up it up so that I can use it on my desktop pc [ which doesn't have a wi-fi] but I gave up after several tries.
I have the username password for the settings in 192.168.1.1/main.html But nothing seems to be working.
As of now what I have done is I have simply connected it with my previous router [utstar] and for now I am able to work on my destkop and connect laptop through the wi-fis. But I want to use the D-link one as both modem router and wife iteslf.

I want to know that should I run the wireless device wizard from windows 7 ? or I can simply configure the Dlink wifirouter+modem manually and it should be ready to go?
