Thread: help me prevent this fraud

I share airtel internet with my neighbour using a switch connected to the beetle 220BX modem. Recently I found that he is has added a LAN card to his PC and now sharing this connection with the other person, but I couldn't prove it to him. Can I configure my modem in a way so that I can prevent this sharing of Internet from his computer.

Please please help me. And please don't give the tips like 'esolve the matter in a friendly talk' etc.

Normally you should be able configure what PCs to allow the internet connection on your switch, but since your friend is connecting that other computer thru his computer and not your switch, I don't think you will have any option to prevent it as all the internet traffic is being routed thru your friends computer.
