My connection is a 2MBPS unlimited with 75GB of download.
I have been facing a frequent disconnection problem for a long time. I
first
lodged a complaint on 17th Dec¿2011 and I was told that there is a problem
at
the backend due to the Chennai link failure and this will be set right
soon.

When the problem did not get solved I again contacted Airtel contact centre
on 29th dec¿2011 and I was told that an Engr. would be visiting my place to
resolve this and since then I kept calling and there was no one who one who
turned up till 4th jan¿2012. The Engr. who came mentioned that the card at the backend has been replaced and now the problem will not be there.
Post that when the problem started occurring after every 10-15mts. the very
day
next day, I started calling him but he never picked up the call. A new
complaint was again lodged at the call centre as they had closed the old
call.

Then again after 2 days an Engr. Called Sanvesh visited my house and said
that
this is a modem fault without testing with another modem as he did not have one in his toolkit.
Amd since, then i have called almost everday to their call centre, emails to 121 , nodal.ncr but no one even bothers to call and checkup the status. Last week for a couple of days it was working and then all of sudden an Airtel Engr. came on his own on 30-01-2012 saying they have changed the line and now he has come to change the settings, but internet stopped working completely. He said he has to do something at the backend and will return shortly. And after that the line also became dead. And Engr. or his Supervisor(Ravi) are not reachable on phone. When contacted call centre, they say call is call is closed as the telephone instrument is faulty and is out of warranty without even any Engineer visiting.
This is the height of customer service.
AIRTEL with their leadership are quite arrogant and have no care for its customer.
