    Please leave your remarks about connection reliability and uptime besides other factors like speed and what you think about the price plans

    Airtel is 10 out of 10 for customer service
    and just 5 out of 10 for speed. So I give 7.

    Airtel customer care is excellent , but speed is worst...
    why airtel is not increasing bandwidth like BSNL ???

    I rate Airtel 10/10. I am using it for the last 1.5yrs and am happy with the service they provide. Speeds are ok and most important is I had only once or twice probelms connecting in 1.5 yrs.

    Promptness of Service:
    Broadband=9
    landline Telephone= 9
    Wireless = 3

    Trained Manpower= 5

    Financial Credibility= 3
    (whether they wld fleece the customer, if possible)

    Airtel's reliaility (line) used to be good,

    I have given 10 to Airtel and i would say that it is the best Broadband connection which i have used till now and there is no much better service provider then Airtel.

    i have also voted. I think that Airtel is the best one from all present ISP in India and i am sure that they would have the majority of the market share in near future.

    I would Give them a 8, Customer service is ok eveything is good but they have to make night free as BSNL is their real competitor I have both connections for name sake Note: Bsnl works 200/365days in a year.........I am with BSNL Just for Downloads Unlimited Else It will be only Airtel 365/360 You Guys At Airtel Are a Commited Lot I must Admit. we have to ask indiabroadband.net admin to ask Airtel to make free night offer available.

    That's because of server up-gradation Dude . some time i'm getting 2mpbs speed because of that too.. lol

    I would rate Airtel 10/10, Using the services from last 6 months and never faced a problem with the connection. The speed comes as promised in the plan. the customer service is prompt. The billing and payment methods are easy.

    Lightbulb My Experience With Airtel...

    Hi,

    It's been 20 days since I got it. Plan is 256k unlimited. I run my laptop almost 20 hours a day. Got disconnected around 8 this morning. But solved it myself(with a help of a technical person from Airtel over phone) when I came back to windows from ubuntu around 10. Had to install NetXpert to solve it. I'd have given 10/10 if there wasn't a disconnection today. So I've given 9/10.

    Exactly. I had applied for BSNL BB in Mar, 2007. For nearly 2.5 months there was nothing. Then I asked for Airtel. Airtel said that they have no connectivity in my area and as and when connection becomes available, I will be notified. Then in Aug, 2007, I finally got BSNL BB.

    Of late I started getting frequent disconnections. The SNR was 7 or below. I complained and complained. Two weeks ago, the BSNL man said the fault has been rectified. My SNR values are still 7~8 but I am not getting disconnections as earlier.

    Last week, I again asked for an Airtel connection. My intention was running both connection in parallel and then surrendering the less reliable one. And what does Airtel say:

    - they have no connections in my area

    - I was given a compliant number
    - When I asked again and again as to when there would be a possibilty, he refused to give any straight answer. He said that he is not the right person.
    - When I asked to be directed to the right person, he backed off completely.
    - Finally, he said that, if there is a sufficient demand in the area then Airtel can lay the cables.
    - He asked me to canvas for Airtel and said that if I could get 10 requests for Landlines, Airtel would take the cabling on priority.

    My case rests, my lords. I leave the judgement to you people.

    Though i have a slow connection (UL 128K :crying , i rate it is 8/10 for the quality of service they are providing. (I would have rated 10/10 if i had speed bursts like you guys )

    11/10 , no doubts what so ever , I have used over 5 ISP's including BSNL , I am going to stick with Airtel cause it works every single time, and about the speed spikes , well lets just say that lately , it's been happening quite a lot , check my post .

    Airtel said this thing to me in october 2006 that they will notify me, after that i called them back again in aug 2008 got the same answer again
    There is no doubt that airtel is best but main problem is like its not available everywhere

    First of all, i am very frustated with FREQUENT DISCONNECTION OF airtel connections..BUT OUR FORUMS GAVE RIGHT DIRECTIONS TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.. JUST BECAUSE OF THESE FORUMS..I AM NOW HAPPY..SO..I AM GIVING 100 OUT OF 100 TO OUR FORUM MEMBERS AND 10 out 10 to airtel who tried to solve my problem..BUT AT LAST OUR FORUM MEMBER SOLVE MY PROBLEM....GREAT GOING

    Airtel FREEDOM2999 does not allow 2MB down load speed if you exeed 100GB usage. This restriction has started since September 19th. No Freedom !!!

    Airtel is best in terms of reliablity of connection and customer support (for existing ones)..

    However, there plans are a bit costlier when compared with BSNL.

    Rated 10 because i have been with Airtel since 2003 when it was called Touchtel and i have been one happy customer. Any problem i had was solved in a couple of hours.

    Why don't you guys put in your location as well (in your posts), so that we can see whether it is a city/location problem, rather than an India-wide experience...

    Anyone in Mumbai that can give feedback on Airtel?

    We are using TataIndicom, which is not really that good, and MTNL is very good in certain locations, like residential areas of South Mumbai.

    I was using BSNL Home UL 1350, It's been like 2 months since I switched over to Airtel 1299 Plan, Ultimate speed and great customer support (as always)

    I give 9 out of 10
    Speed is 65-70kbps for my 256kbps plan (speed doubled in night )
    Downtime is actually less than 1%, unless somebody physically damages our cabling or so
    Customer care, i call them very very rarely, they are average

    Overall 9/10

    Its not bad to have the connection but the enhancements part of the service is too slow to respond due to increasing demand I guess. so plan all the accessories before hand along with registration

    Airtel broadband customer services is the worst services, I have ever experienced. Even BSNL customer services is better since they do not respond properly, but Airtel provide informations that is totally different version compared to the previous customer service agent what he said.

    They do not know the policy and regulations.. each and every person will provide there own version of stories....

    And if you ask the previous case note, they will say they are unable to retrive the data... or no such enquriy - previous agent will do the fails document.....even if you provided the case ID... LOL


    Customer services suck.... totally groups of f--kers working together.....

    In Noida, service is reliable, but FUP sucks on 1MBPS unl plan.

    Any experience with 2MBPS plan?? Is FUP still applicable? Any plans without FUP?

    i am on the BSNL 1350 U/L in Kolkata [BandW=512 kbps]
    almost decided to switch to <Airtel Browser 899(Airtel/KK/FL/003)>

    as it was promising the same speed at Rs450 pm less - or so the salesman said ..even after I quizzed him on any qualifiers to "unlimited" he said none!

    gud thing i chked the foonotes ....hehehehe

    "512 kbps till 15 GB,256 Kbps beyond 15 GB. Service Charges extra will apply."

    ok so has anyone else tried this plan & what is their exp. usage , billing etc ...or evn oter plans , presume same f.note applies?

    at least sloppy BSNL doesn't hv any of this!!!

    now he says the 15GB limit is a TRAI Guideline which every company incl BSNL HAS to apply !!!

    I think broadband has the worst customer service. they are cheaters to the core... I shifted from my place and registered a request to dissconnet my connection. But these people never did that and i lost my service request no. Even after that i paid my bills twice and asked them to stop the services. Their executive on phone always said its done sir. But again next month i started getting calls that your bill is due. I feel cheated by airtel and the way they harras you is just pathetic. One should never take airtel connection in lietime. Take BSNL for broadband and Reliance or Tata for Mobile. I am from Delhi/NCR.

    1.You should send an email to CC at
    121@airtel.in
    2.Did you surrender any Phone/ and or modem
    at the nearest Airtel outlet and get a receipt with date ?
    3. Are you Registered in Self care page ?
    4. Without any written document, about your disconnection request, and ack from Airtel,
    difficult to file complaint about Airtel service.
    5.
    Check the back of the bill for details of email address to higher level/s.
