Thread: How is Airtel on Speed and Tarriff and Billing?

I have been with BSNL Dataone for quite some time and I am not that much satisfied with them and I plan to switch to some other provider. My friends suggested that Airtel is best. Can the fellow Airtel users here tell me how is Airtel in terms of speed (BSNL is good in this regard), tarriff and billing (do they overcharge)?

why you not satisfied....dont get excite with airtel offering 8mbps because thats not untld....BSNL provides decent online pings for online gaming...however airtel sucks in that....dunno which part of airtel you like more than bsnl...

ya for people with not much downloading and uploading thats a decent plan...good for surfers who just want to check there mail and some occasional download...

I did not say that I like airtel, but heard from my friends that they are good, that's all. Since BSNL is worse in terms of service, I am planning to switch but i am at a loss to find a good ISP with almost everyone is having their ups and downs.

Airtel is good interms of billing. They provide the entire usage details for the broadband usage. So that i could check out. But with the landline they give me is what sucks. They charge too much. I do not know whether i make so many calls from it, but however my net usage billing is proper. I have not faced any serious problems with them.

Well i would say that Airtel is the best one in terms of all the things you listed. I had changed several internet service providers and and it is because none of them were good. I would suggest to complain there higher authorities and i am sure that they would definately look into your matter.

Airtel is the best in ever term as per my experience with them and as of the spped they have reliable and good speed and for the billing they do not over charge any money. You would pay what you are told (plus taxes)

I am using Airtel connection for the past 1 year and till date i have never faced any over charging problem with them. I think they are the best in every thing expect their connections pricing which are a little bit costly.

Till now i have never face any problem with Airtel speed and also with their billing. I always pay in time and i am never charged with anything extra and more over they have a very stable speed.

Airtel have a great stable speed. They are little expensive as compared to others but till i am ready to pay that for the reliable service they provide and as of the billing i have their e-payment facility because of which i never had to worry about the payment at all.
