no rental or modem charges. fixed pay 499 p.m.

    speed 64kbps

is this a good plan ?

That looks like a very slow speed for an unlimited plan. I feel that it will be slower than a normal dial-up connection, hence I would not suggest you this, if you are like a person who uses net for downloads. If you use it only for general browsing emails, forums, chat, social networks, then you can go for it.

Yes i agree..... no point in saying that you have a broadband connection speed of 64 KBPS.. Broadband by the name itself should have atleast 256 KBPS by its standard....

Hey dude, do not go for such a low bandwidth. Instead you take some other plan. Because even in a dial up you will get 64kbps connection. There is no point of use in applying for this. You will fed up with the bandwidth and your downloading speed will be somewhere 4 to 6 kb per second.

    Smile Nice Plan

Hi satya bro I think that ur from M4I. Bro I'm also using this plan right now and yes it's a good plan.but not good for downloading.
download speed is about 10kbps everytime but with this plan u'll also get 120 Rs. for voice calls so in my view it's a good plan to always connected to internet....rest is urs

With 64 kbps offered speed you would just get 5 - 6 kbps download speed and by this you can judge that you would have good speed to surf (that also not that much good ) but not a good download speed.

i think 64kbps speed is not good better you go far 256kpbs...
Broadband starts from 256kpbs... anything lower than this is not
    broadband.....

64kbps means 64kilo bits per seconds ,it mean you will get 64 divided
    by 8 ,i.e 8kBps (8kilo Byte pers second)
note :b represents bits and B represents Byte (8bit=1byte)

64 kbps is too low for me. It cannot be classified as broadband.

64kbps is a damn slow connection. GPRS connection is a bit better than that. Why don't you try 128 kbps connection in Airtel for the monthly rental of INR 750?
