Default Choosing a prepaid or postpaid Airtel Broadband

I have been viewing broadband plans provided by Airtel on their website, and the search is simple is easy, choose your location and the kind of speed you want for your connection and then choose from the plans, but there is no option to see or choose whether the connection is to be prepaid or postpaid. I have tried hard to search for the option but have had no luck. Please can someone guide me on how to choose the broadband connection to prepaid or postpaid.

Just a general query why isn't Airtel ADSL available for a prepaid option?

Not many companies would provide a prepaid adsl connection mainly because they have to lay cables and the infrastructure costs money. Giving the customer an option to use the connection when they want and stop recharging when they don't want it would decrease their profitability. This is the reason on government companies BSNL and Mtnl have this option and no one else.

Ok, I thought that the prepaid and postpaid option was available for all broadband service providers, I didn't realize that it was only BSNL and MTNL which had this option.

You can go with Postpaid Airtel Broadband because there is no prepaid option for wired broadband in Airtel.

Other broadband providers have both prepaid and postpaid options but Airtel only have postpaid plans?

I dont know the exact reason why there is no prepaid Airtel broadband connection, but I am guessing because it would not work out profitable for Airtel or because the Airtel prepaid tariff plans would work out too expensive.

I am only guessing but I think that Airtel provide only postpaid plans is because you require an Airtel landline connection, without this you can not get a broadband connection.

I think all the other service providers have a postpaid and prepaid options, why is that Airtel doesn't provide both options?
