Good for online gaming?

I've recently taken the 256kbps UL plan but the connection is crazy tonight..fluctuating between 150-320kbps. Called up CC and they informed me that there is a problem at the backend and it will be resolved tomorrow. Previous experience with such connection speeds was that I could still play games online. Now, even the pings to Asian servers are pretty bad (250-600ms), which kinda surprises me. Is there something I need to know about this Airtel connection? Anyway to fix the problem/explain to the tech guys?

The most common you receive most of the time with the customers service whenever you call with an issue is the same as you got, there is nothing we can do with this. You can probably login again after some time, you might get good speed, if you are lucky.

punkassbitch , it depends on ther server too bro , i play EVE-Online Daily and its great and never faced any issues

I understand that emotions are running high in this thread... but please.. take it easy with your words hidden under them stars ... we've got kids visiting this forum as well.
