    Default Airtel Tariffs

I'm a Airtel broadband user and much satisfied with their services. From some days I realised that Airtel starts cheating with their customers. They closes all valuable tariff plans. There's not a single plan on which Night unlimited is available......uffffff
BSNL Home 500C plan attracts me most. Is their any hope that airtel too starts that type of "value for money" Plan.....???

well airtel is very good at providing unlimited plans u can take 256kbps unlimited at 740 a month .... +12.5% service tax .. or 128kbps unlimited ... why do u want to take night unlimited ..there net is 24/7 connected their customer care is on even at 4 o clock in the night .

I completely agree with U Nautilus. Unlimited plan is always better than unlimited in night because if U forget to schedule your douwnload of if the software U use does not support scheduling, U might tend to download over your limited quota and hence incurr some extra charges.

But again I would also like to bring to your notice that the plan U mention is only for existing customers. For new connections they have unlimited 999 for 356kbps and plan 699 for 128kbps costing Rs 999 + service tax 12.56% and Rs 699 + service tax 12.56% respectively. And for 512kbps its plan 1499 i.e. Rs 1499 + s.t 12.56%. The quest is do U really get a 1:2 ratio ? They claim U get nothing less that actual speed /8 as download and divided by 2 to get upload. For eg. if U take a 256kbps then U would get nothing less than 256/8 = 32 kbps download speed (it can go up ofcourse but not down...as claimed by Airtel). I would like to ask you, is it true ?

    Cheers
