    Exclamation

    Thanks for the acknowledge...

Dude. I would rate the Airtel Cust Care service as 3/5
But the real service is 1/5 when they come in providing Itemised Bill.

My recent Billing Details : (Timestamps with date)

    15. 29/12/2007 20:34:21 913.00
    16. 29/12/2007 20:34:23 04.58

Just see the timestamps of my recent bill. U will notice wat i came to say

In my bill , that 913.00 was added up and bill came as 2000

When I lodged a complaint on this (3rd feb), they took my words and assured the re-issue of my bill (within 6th feb)

I dint get any bills nor any calls from them on this issue.

Then I called them on 11th feb , I got the shock reply from the cust care
"Sir. Your billing issue has been rectified"
Me : "why dint you intimate me"

Here comes the smart Airtel guys' reply
"Yes Sir. You can pay the bill amount excluding that 913.00" and he started saying with "Thanks for calling Airtel ..........." without even bothered to ask any suggestions from me

    LOL

Dude.. See positng of my mail sent to me by the Cust care..

Also I got the Bill for my new unlimited 750 plan..

750 rs for 30 days.. Since i migrated to the plan frm 16th jan,

my billing date was 16th jan to 25th jan (10 days0

    The rent came as 250+

    so for 30 days its (250 X 3 ) + 12% tax = 810 ....

I infact called the cust care and verified the rent of my plan... (After migrating to the new 750 plan)

This plan have come in Bangalore and chennai 2 months back....

When u call the cust care and ask for how much the rent for 256 ul , they will say u 999 only... not 750 coz this plan is an existing one but like an hidden plan...

Better change the plan by putting a mail to the mail id tat i have mentioned..
    u will get a surprise in 2 days ... :d

Airtel is offering better speeds that actually advertised. Reason, very soon 2mbps may be categorised as broadband, so all regular 256 will be converted to 2megs. MTNL is already offering 2megs to unltd 256 customers. Airtel gives pretty cool speed from existing connections.

I am not sure of 2Mbps u/l plan, but Airtel does have 1Mbps u/l plan for Rs 2222 p.m., the only reason I am still with my Rs 1995 plan of 512Kbps, is the STD of Re1 per min (as compared to per 30 sec in all new plans, including Rs 1400 u/l 512 plan) and Rs 50 top-up to make calls to all metro cities at local rate (Re 1 per 3 Min, not available in any of the new plans).
