currently im using bsnl unlimited [900] broadband
now im planning to switch to airtel and im willing to buy 512 kpbs unlimited plan for rs 1499
so just wanted to ask you guys that is that plan good ?

and anyone using it now ?

and whats the unique speed you people are getting to download

speed is good for torrents its giving 50~60 KBps and if you go for direct download ie rapidshare and megaupload etc it gives 75~80 KBps

Go with BSNL is my opinion. Check out the web site for their tariffs.

I'm on Airtel 999UL and get 55-60kBps....I heard that on a 512kBps you get speeds of around 90kBps.

i got the new 1 Mbps paln speeds in IDM are averaging about 140KBps...a 700mb xvid movie in under 1and a 1/2 hr you can go for this plan it costs rs 2200/month
