I'M SERIOUSLY REGRETTING MY DECISION TO SWITCH TO Airtel. I am having a VERY bad experience with Airtel after getting Broadband connection. I am really amazed at the customer service of such a big association. I think that Airtel is not capable of handling too many customers.
In spite of my repeated request emails, letters, phone calls to Airtel India, for discontinuation of the broadband connection, Landline phone, refund cheque. I’m sad to inform you that no action has been taken till now and still i am receiving the bills.
I have been complaining ever since May 15, 2008 connection is been installed, but no action has been taken. Every time I call the customer care, I am allotted a complaint number & am promised that I should receive a call with a solution within 24 hours. But no response. The behavior of the Airtelemployees is very RUDE.
PROBLEM : Discontinuatio OF Broadband CONNECTION / LANDLINE PHONE
1. I took Broadband connection in the month of May, 2008. On very first day there is problem of slow speed. Executive who came to installed went away saying there is problem with server room which will be fixed from backend. Having waited for a day I filed complained and was promised a visit within 4 hours but nothing done,
2. Gave request for Discontinuation of Broadband on may 20, 2008 but till date no calls received from Airtel.

Communication History
1. I called up Airtel customer care for complaint and I was given a compalaingt number 6839068 and nextday 6864154
2- On May 17th spoke to senior executive of Airtel Braodband customer service dept - Miss Gunjan. She has promised within 2 days it will be fixed.
Again after waiting for 2 days , spoke to senior executive of Airtel Braodband customer service dept - Uma Shankar , same thing I was told.
Again on 23rd , spoke to senior executive of Airtel Braodband customer service dept - Vishwajeet & Anil - they have promised me for next day morning, airtel executive came in by afternoon he started downloading & uploading many heavy files to test the speed , he sat for around 5 hours just to do this. But of no solution. Stil getting Poor Service.
2. I also sent emails appellate.ncr@airtel.in; nodal.ncr@airtel.in on May 20 regariding this concern. Received their receipts.
Now I am very much frustrated and disappointed with Airtel employee’s behavior and services. I am having all the records / proofs / reference no’s of applications sent to Airtel and now i am going to Consumer Forum.
