now vodafone bought airtel domain name hahaha

Thats a spanish site. Airtel was bought over by vodafone in Spain a few years back and thats why they got the domain with it so nothing fishy about it.

I am not sure why www. airtel .com has not been claimed by Airtel.

I think the reason that they did not claim is because when vodafone took over the company they also owned the domain name and now i think its something that airtel jsut overlooked

yaa preeti is correct here... vodafone took over airtel there and its a spanish server based in spain..

but dont know why airtel is not doing anything about it... i think airtel is helpless over here.. as vodafone is really a monser in phone providers...

But Airtel should not claim to own it as it is diverting people to vodafone, which seems unethical practice...

lol ... strange really ... but i think it is unethical on part of vodafone to attract users searching/surfing for airtel

Such an act doesn't suit Vodafone....seems they are deliberately not releasing the domain as the company Airtel acquired by them doesn't exists now but the domain name is....I support Saurav...they should not be unethical and get into such dirty games

if they own the domain... they can keep it ... but redirecting those domains to vodafone sites is unethical
