Thread: IS port 25 blocked by airtel

I have email account thru vsnl and now i have installed airtel broadband...the problem is my email account which configured with outlook can recieve emails but cannot send emails....is this because the smtp port 25 has been blocked by airtel....any solutions?

no, its not like that airtel has blocked port no. 25. To use your mail account u have to call airtel engineer and tell himm to configure ur mail account through relay..then it will work surely..tell me where u r? if in delhi ,i can help u out

Certainly not. Check whether any firewall or other softwares are blocking in your end

through relay?

first of all,open relay.airtelbroadband.in
register ur vsnl mail id there.
now for outlook express, ur pop and smtp both r relay.airtelbroadband.in
