Thread: Beetel 220 bxi adsl2+ modem not working in usb mode

hi friends i have a beetel 220 bxi adsl2+ modem with both lan and usb ports. although the lan port works fine with my pc but whenever i connect the usb cabble to the modem and the pc, an error message is displayed that usb device not working. i have tried my all the usb ports and in different pc's using the supplied the driver cd for the same. plz help guys.

If you have the cd with USB drivers.
Try this. Uninstall the usb drivers.
Disconnect the modem. ( disconnect rj45 cable also )
Download the usb drivers to say c :/beetel usb.
Now connect the modem and USBport cable Re start computer.
Let windows detect new hardware : the modem.
Follow procedure and load drivers from C:/beetel usb.
You may also get error message that the drivers are not digitally signed.
Reboot and try again. The address is 192.168.1.2 for USB connection.
