    Default Airtel in SmartAX MT841

    I hav d above modem,can i configure foe use in airtel in wireless as it is a bsnl modem,will d speed be slower then a normal airtel modem??

    I think that you should be able to use it
    as far as speed is concern it dont think that their will be any difference as this is also a ADSL 2 modem

    presume you are already connected to Airtel with VPI/VCI 1_32 etc

    what is a wireless adapter??

    What do u mean by VPI/VCI 1_32??

    How much does a wireless modem cost or wot is d rent from airtel??

    Click this link: SmartAX MT-841 ADSL MODEM (Type-IV) MENU

    On this link, there is an option "ADSL Model Configuration for Multiuse". Click on this link.

    On point no. 11 from the above setup. VPI and VCI values need to be setup correctly. For BSNL, the VPI/VCI values are 0/35 respectively.

    But for Airtel, the values are 0/32 respectively.

    You should ask Airtel to help you if you are not sure. They may help even if the modem is not supplied by them. They helped a friend of mine with his Netgear wireless router.
