Thread: DLINK 2640T doesnt connect to my laptop

Hi All
Badly in need of help plz. i was browsing with the DLINK 2640T few days ago.
suddenly the connection failed(with correct pass key) when i tried connecting from my Laptop(IBM T43) given in office. My wireless connection is being detected as Ram-Home. When i click connect and enter the passkey it connects and immediately disconnects and it goes in a loop of the same process.

I am able to connect to the same WIFI connection from my personal laptop.
(All the settings are the same). Steps i tried are as below:

1) uninstalled WIFI drivers and restarted.No go .
2) updated the WIFI(Intel pro2200BG) no go.
3) tried Winsockfix downloading from internet. It said fix is complete. but still same.
4) Updated to XP Sp3. no go.

Do i need to change any settings in the routers home page ..

This happens sometimes. It happened to me once. I reset the router and reconfigured it again and the problem went away. Try the same. It may work for you as well.

Guys have found the out the solution .. Thanks a ton for reply buddy...
Had to change the pass phrase in the routers home page...
