Probably, Airtel broadband in available only in banglore.

I hope that it will be started in other parts of the country.

BSNL broadband may be available in Gujrat.

yes i am in chandigarh and there is airtel...

now, can anyone give me a better idea of what services are available in dwarka?

I think approaching the Sales division is the best method.

The problem with Airtel, Reliance, Tata Indicom, etc. is that they may not be covering a particular area. They have to lay down the cables to reach an area and that often takes time and they do it only if there is reasonable demand from the area.

In that respect, BSNL will be able to provide a connection quicker.

BSNL is a good idea in gujrat... as airtel is not available there and BSNL is offering better plans...

So do bsnl offer all the plans that are on their website there?
Or only certain ones cos its a small place?

BSNL is about to offer some more plans on 15 aug... so better if you can wait for few more days to check all available plans you can visit Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

no no dont worry all these plans are available there as its in gujrat circle and apart from that you can call BSNL once and confirm same...

i m sure they are offering same plans there... and possible u'll not be able to get a very good speed out there... due to some exchange issues... apart from there... everything is fine

For unlimited you can go for two options:

a) UL 750 Plus @ 256 kbps (32 KB/s): Unlimited download, OK speed for surfing and no landline rent. Cost = Rs. 750 + Rs. 92.70 (Service Tax and Education Cess) per month.

b) UL 1350 Plus @ 512 kbps (64 KB/s): Same as above but at better speed. OK for downloads too. Cost = Rs. 1350 + Rs. 166.86 (Service Tax and Education Cess) per month.

Unlimited plans will give you peace of mind, especially in places such as Dwarka where connections may not be port binded.

BSNL plans are same throughout India - they do not change from city to city or state to state. The only issue may be whether they are in a position to offer Broadband services in the city.

Dwarka is a small town but Mithapur next to it is a major industrial township; and hence may be having BB services. Also Okha is a major port in Gujrat.
