Default Web Filtering by ISP's

Dear All,
I am looking for a decent ISP connection in Bangalore. Before getting the connection I want to know few things. Any of you please let me know the followings.

I want to have a web filtering service for my Broadband service. I would like to block all harmful and adult contents at the service itself. Is there any way or service which provides this? I dont believe in PC based client programs which can easily be removed. I don’t think that client program will update its database. As it works based on few conditions. Boarders who have experienced and felt the necessity of such service, please write few words about this.

Also please let me know which of the available Broadband service
viz Airtel, Reliance and BSNL is good.

I am looking for an approximate 80-100kbps speed.
I have BSNL land line connection so will it be better to go for BSNL only?

Please guide me.

you can go for any ISP you would want to but, ISP may not do any web-filtering at their level as its against their contractual agreement with the higher level ISP and so they will end up suggesting the installation of some personal firewall, spyware blocker, pop-up blockers and anti-virus program which is NOW a requirement for every windows based PC/laptop

I agree with Roy, no ISP can block any webhosting. Some thing which is not required at your end or is not appropriate according to you, cannot be stopped. It's a free world and we all have a right to choose what we want.
