Default How to use Airtel & MTNL Broadband simultaneously

Hi,

Is it possible to use Airtel & MTNL Boradband connection simultaneously in a network ?

I am currently having MTNL Broadband connection & is being shared by 4-5 nodes. The ADSL Router is connected to Switch. As my complete office is fully dependent on internet, I want to take Airtel Broadband connection also so that if any one service is down the work does not get affected. Is it possible to connect the airtel adsl router in same switch & configure it, so that both the internet are working together & if any one is down then other takes over automatically ?

Default Need to manage switch

If you like to use your both ISP bandwith simalteniouslly then you need leyer 2 swithch. It also need configure as your wish. Both service provider have different IP and your office network coputer may have different IP. Only Manage switch or router can manage the taffic between different range IP.

Default Layer 2 Switch

Normally we are use the passive switch. This switch has no ability to filtering IP based traffic. This type switch is such as D-link switch approximate cost 8000/-. It only remembers MAC address is connected to which port of switch and delivers the IP packet to PC. This type switch is not configurable.

But layer 2 switch is active switch. It is able to filter IP based traffic. This type switch such as Cisco 1900 series switch. I do not how much cost it. But is configurable as base on each port. In this type switch you can manage two or more different IP network. Cisco is the best manufacturer. You may search others manufacturer in google.

Before use or buy please contract any CCNA expert.
Please feel free for any clarification in this forum
