hi i just got online with airtel using the 384kbps plan

I wouldve inlcuded the speedtest results hehe but i guess I need to make 14 more posts on this forums before I can.

looks allright as of now, looking forward to consistent throughput, good uptime and yeah not to forget the alleged speed bursts which are mentioned in the forums

I think you should not find much problems with airtel as they do provide good service and customer care

They do have very little down time and are able to resolve the issue quickly

What is the cost per month of the 384 kbps connection?

A 384 kbps unlimited usage plan costs Rs.999+taxes.

I had this plan before switching to 2mbps-6gb limit plan that costs the same with Rs.200 worth free calls.

    Hi,

My broadband usage is usually anywhere between 3GB to 8GB. If I find that I'm about to cross 6GB mark, I would start making use of my neighbors' broadband connection.

    Thanks and regards,
    Pothi.

stagliano Welcome to indiabroadband.net, I am sure you will not face any problems with airtel as cust service and services of airtel are very reliable.

apart from that i request you whenever you use tech jargons on forum please put some time to provide meaning of that coz you are good with tech things but everyone is not

Let me explain Throughput: In data transmission, throughput is the amount of data moved successfully from one place to another in a given time period. The throughput is usually measured in bits per second (bit/s or bps), and sometimes in data packets per second or data packets per time slot.
